This news section will provide information on development work going on in the County along with information on all Junior Club & School Competitions & Leagues.
School Competitions
The dates for the School Competitions have now been set, they are as follows:
Hampshire School Cups - these will be held at Southampton Sports Centre 10am-4pm
U14 Girls - Thursday 16th October 2008
U16 Girls - Thursday 6th November 2008
U18 Girls - Wednesday 12th November 2008
U14 Boys - Tuesday 3rd February 2009
U16 Boys - Thursday 12th February 2009
U18 Boys - Wednesday 4th March 2009
The entry form for the competitions can be found in the download section of this website under Juniors.
Coaches Wanted
Perins School, Alresford are looking for a Level 2 coach to lead their hockey sessions from September (the position is paid):
• Mondays 3.30pm – 5.00pm
• Wednesdays 3.30pm – 5.00pm
• Fridays 4.00pm – 5.00pm
If you are available to coach any of the time slots please contact me with your details and I will pass them onto the School.
The Eastleigh Multi Sports Club for young people with learning and physical disabilities ages 11-25yrs, are looking for a hockey coach. The hockey sessions are taking place at Thornden School, Chandlers Ford, dates TBC. They would like a coach who has experience with coaching children with disabilities. The post is paid at £25 per Sunday, if you are interested in the position please contact me.
